These terms and conditions apply to all Dutchairbnb tours and are subject to change. The most current conditions at the time of departure apply. By using any part of our website or sharing your personal information with us, you accept and agree to the practices described in our privacy policy.
Deposit
To book a trip, Dutchairbnb requires a deposit of € 750 per person (including a minimum of € 200 non-refundable cancellation fee) for our scheduled departures and a non-refundable deposit of € 1,000 per person for our private tours. Travel Credits cannot be used to pay the deposit.
Last payment
As soon as a deposit has been received and your reservation has been confirmed and accepted by Dutchairbnb, we will send a final invoice. The outstanding balance of the trip is due 90 days before the departure date. For reservations made within 90 days of tour departure, the final payment is due at the time of booking.
Late payment
If the last payment is not received 75 days before departure, a surcharge of € 150 applies. 60 days before departure, your reservation can be canceled.
Payment methods
Payment must be in Euros and can be made by bank card or bank transfer. We do not accept cash
Pricing
Prices on this website and invoices are shown in Euros per person, are based on double occupancy and include taxes. A single supplement will be charged for guests who want a private room. This supplement varies depending on the tour and can be found on each individual tour page on our website.
The 'Price from' on the website for scheduled and private tours refers to a specific tour, date, hotel layout and group size. Actual tour prices may differ from the stated price.
No price adjustment is offered for late arrival or early departure of a tour, nor for tour participants who do not cycle ("non-riders").
A given quote is valid for 10 days. Quotes are revised after 10 days. All prices and offers are subject to verification by Dutchairbnb employees.
Cancellations + travel changes
Cancellation policy
The cancellation policy described below takes into account the costs incurred by Dutchairbnb long before travelers ever leave. Dutchairbnb strictly adheres to the following cancellation conditions. The travel price is defined as anything purchased from Dutchairbnb as part of your tour, including upgrades and one supplement.
To avoid cancellation charges and costs of travel changes, consider adding Travel Protection to your booking. You must arrange this protection yourself.
If you are traveling with a scheduled departure and cancel outside of 61 days before departure, the cancellation fee (less a minimum of € 200 non-refundable fee) may be applied to a future Dutchairbnb reservation as travel credit. This travel credit is non-transferable, non-refundable and only valid for travel within one year of cancellation. Once a travel credit has been applied to a trip, it is considered non-refundable.

Changes for planned departures initiated by guest
Requests to change the tour or the date of an existing reservation will be accommodated based on availability. If this request is made within 90 days before departure, a minimum of € 250 per person will be charged for late change fees. The guest is responsible for any additional cancellation fees from hotels, etc. In addition, the guest must pay any increase in the tour price. Only one date change per reservation is allowed.
Changes for private tours initiated by guest
Requested changes to an existing private tour reservation are handled on a case-by-case basis. When Dutchairbnb is able to implement changes, a minimum fee of € 250 per group will be charged. This fee can be increased by the amount of the requested changes. The guest is responsible for any additional cancellation fees from hotels, etc. In addition, guests must pay any increase in the tour price due to the change.
Dutchairbnb Travel Schedule Changes + Cancellations
Dutchairbnb reserves the right to make changes to the date, route, activity and hotel to any tour. This includes the details of the routes as they appear on Dutchairbnbtours.com. Every effort is made to minimize changes.
Dutchairbnb reserves the right to cancel, change or delay a tour at any time for any reason. If Dutchairbnb cancels the tour, travelers will receive a Dutchairbnb travel credit for all monies paid.
Dutchairbnb is not responsible for personal expenses resulting from changes in travel schedules or cancellations of tours, such as prepaid hotel accommodations or airline tickets. We strongly recommend that you confirm your trip with Dutchairbnb before making any additional travel arrangements.
Travel protection
Travel protection plans protect your travel investment, your belongings and, above all, you. We always recommend travelers to sign up for a travel protection plan in case you need to cancel or leave your trip. Please note that the plan is non-refundable.

Travel services
At the request of guests, Dutchairbnb can recommend the services of other companies, including hotels, transport, restaurants and other services that are beyond the scope of our activities. Although Dutchairbnb makes sure to recommend excellent and reliable external travel companies, we do not guarantee services from these companies and are not liable for any problems or cancellations that may occur.
Children on tour
To participate in a scheduled departure, travelers must be aged 17 or over. Please note that minors must be accompanied by an adult. Travelers under the age of 17 are welcome to join a family or private tour. We are happy to work with you and your family to select the date and destination that will meet your specific needs. In addition, children wishing to ride an e-bike must be 14 years of age or older.
Travel documents
Each guest must have a passport and any visas for his or her journey before departure. If a guest is unable to obtain travel documents or is not allowed to enter the destination country, our standard cancellation policy applies. Passports must be valid for a minimum of six months after the tour ends. Visit the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for more information.
Arrival and departure transfers
On all Dutchairbnb routes you will find recommended times and locations for arrival and departure to and from your tour. Dutchairbnb offers group transfers to and from the tour, within reasonable limits and in accordance with pickup and drop-off recommendations. In the event that your train, flight, or other trip falls outside the recommended departure or arrival time or location, you may be responsible for additional charges for arranging a separate transfer.

Traveler profile
After submitting your deposit, you will receive a traveler profile to complete. This profile must be signed and returned to Dutchairbnb within 10 days of receipt to complete your trip. With the traveler profile, Dutchairbnb can secure your bicycle, notice dietary restrictions and recognize any special requests.

By making your deposit and completing your traveler profile, you agree to the following traveler code:
I have chosen a trip that suits my capacities, condition and health.
I don't have any physical conditions or disabilities that endanger me or other travelers.
I have a valid passport and all visas, permits, certificates and vaccinations required to travel.
I will read all materials for the trip about clothing, medical requirements and culture specific etiquette.
I will ensure that I notify any special requests at least 30 days before departure. This includes dietary restrictions, medical requirements, and room preferences. I understand that Dutchairbnb will make every effort to accommodate special requests, but cannot guarantee that they will be met.
I respect the laws and customs of the countries visited.
I will follow environmental guidelines and regulations during the trip in accordance with the guide's guidelines.
I respect the rights and privacy of other guests.
I understand that group travel always involves a compromise to meet the diverse needs, travel goals, personalities and physical abilities of all group members. Dutchairbnb guides may be needed to improvise in good faith, use discretion and / or make decisions based on group consensus. These decisions may not always be individual, but are intended to meet the larger needs of the group.
I understand that Dutchairbnb reserves the right to refuse service during a tour to anyone whose health or behavior may interfere with the well-being or enjoyment of fellow guests. A person may be asked to leave a trip if the leader determines that the person's continued participation may be harmful to the individual or group.
I understand that a less traveled road means that access to medical facilities and evacuation services may be limited.
I understand that Dutchairbnb has no control over the weather.
I always wear a helmet when driving.
I don't wear headphones while driving.
I will consume alcohol responsibly.
I am responsible for all damage to a hotel room.
I do not use my mobile phone while cycling.
If you disagree with these rules, you risk resigning from the tour and returning home at your expense with no refund for the missed tour portion. Dutchairbnb reserves the right to refuse or cancel a reservation if the person's health or behavior impairs the well-being or enjoyment of fellow guests.
Disclaimer of Liability
Dutchairbnb is not liable for physical injury or material damage as a result of (but not limited to): physical effort for which a guest is not prepared; natural forces; collisions with bicycles, pedestrians or cars; road conditions, including but not limited to a lack of shoulder and roadway surfaces affected by weather conditions; travel by air, train, car, boat or other transport, or by bicycle, ski, horse, foot or any other form of active or adventure travel; consumption of alcoholic drinks; social unrest; terrorism; equipment malfunction; great height; lack or limited access to medical assistance in remote locations or the adequacy of medical assistance once it has been provided. Guests who have not submitted a signed declaration of liability prior to departure are not allowed to participate in the trip and the standard cancellation policy applies.
Liability limitations
Dutchairbnb is not liable for any expenses, including meals, transportation or hotel expenses that are not specified as included in the fare but may be required to get to or from the beginning or end of a trip. Dutchairbnb reserves the right to make route and hotel adjustments if necessary to improve the quality of a trip or to accommodate the comfort and well-being of guests.
Lost property
Dutchairbnb is not responsible for loss of passports, tickets or other documents, or loss of or damage to baggage, personal property or other passenger belongings. Due to the nature of our trips, you do not always have your luggage with you. That's why we recommend that you pack carefully and consider leaving valuables at home.
Miscellaneous
Although Dutchairbnb makes every effort to ensure the accuracy of our publications, we cannot be held responsible for typographical or printing errors, including prices.
Dutchairbnb acknowledges that some guests may have severe food allergies. We make every effort to ensure that our suppliers are informed and prepared, but we cannot guarantee that all requests will be met.
In addition, guests give Dutchairbnb permission to take photos or film recordings of travel for promotional and commercial use, now or in the future, without compensation. The guest agrees to assign all rights, titles and interests they have in or to media in which their name or likeness may be used to Dutchairbnb. Guests agree that Dutchairbnb may use testimonials regarding services provided for promotional and / or commercial purposes without any compensation now or in the future.
